About UsFILL WITH HOPE is a program operated by the nonprofit organization Canyon Hope Ministries. It provides Hope-Totes each weekend of the school year to Elementary, Intermediate, Junior & High School students. Hope-Totes consist of fruit juice boxes, pop tarts, cereal, peanut butter crackers, pretzels, animal crackers, fruit bars, beef sticks, ravioli & peanut butter. Hope-Totes are packed by volunteers, delivered to the school and discreetly placed in the children’s backpacks to be sent home each Friday. Many of these kids would not eat from lunch at school on Friday until breakfast at school on Monday without the generous donations and support from our community!

Our Packing DatesThank you for volunteering for our Fill With Hope organization. Below are the dates that we are planning to pack bags for the Fall 2020/Spring 2021 school year. Due to COVID 19 and the challenges it brought in the spring, teams & times are currently pending for packing –but will be announced as the school session approaches. September 14th and 15th will be Volunteer Appreciation nights! We have 2 banks that will be sponsoring Hamburgers, chips -drinks and cookies for all volunteers who will be packing on these nights—just to say “THANK YOU” for all they have done for us. Happy State Bank will be serving Monday night and First United Bank will be serving Tuesday night. We look forward to seeing you there! September 14th & 15th—Volunteer Appreciation Nights! We appreciate volunteers assisting as Food Drive Coordinators, Monthly Packers, School Delivery & Distribution, Restocking Teams, and Trash and Recycle Crews. |
